My kids have loaded the sims 2, sims 2 university, sims 2 nightlife, and sims 2 open for business on my computer and added sims 2 pets to their computer at their mothers house. Which sims cd will be used if the kids load family fun stuff and glamour life to my computer? Will I need to use the glamour or family cd? They only visit me (their dad) every other weekend and I like playing sims also and currently I play with the open for business cd. They play with the pets cd at their mothers. Please help with this.

Since the Family Fun Stuff and Glamour Life are just item packs, I don't think you'd be able to use those discs to play the game. Since Open for Business was the last expansion pack installed on your computer, you would use Disc 1 of that one to play. Basically, the most recent expansion pack that was installed is the one you would need to play. So if your kids also install Pets to your computer, they (and you too since you also play) will need to use Disc 1 from that expansion pack. Hope this helps. =)

Punky Brewster is right. Those two are not expansion packs they are just packs of stuff. The discs you currently use to play the game would be the ones you use after you install the Family Fun and Glamour Life packs

I think it depends on which one you load onto the computer last.. for example the last one I installed was Pets and it won't let me use Open for Business, Nightlife, University, or original game CD to play. Hope that helps.
