How cold will it be? Should I bring a wool coat, scarf, gloves, boots? Also, should I wait to change money until I arrive? Was in Israel twice and actually used dollars the whole time, getting change in shekels...

It will be cold like around 10 degrees C on the coast (Beirut, Jounieh, Jbeil) but if you plan to go to the mountains it would be below 0 degrees so ya gloves and boots are needed.

As for currency, you can use USD and you will have change in dollars too.

Hope u will have fun

well as one of the guys said before if you have an Israeli visa stamped on your passport you can't use that same passport to get into Lebanon. But if you happen to make it in, it's winter in January but in Beirut it's not gonna be freezing cold it's really acceptable cold, it rains a lot. You can use dollars in Lebanon.
