A phrase designed to embarass someone who is always bragging about a famous person they encountered or a famous place they went.

As in dropping names.

Stalking is always an option! Just kidding ... All jokes aside, you can drop him hints that you like him, yes, there are many ways. You can, for instance, go talk to him more often, or compliment him on something that he's wearing. Be honest. The best thing to do it talk to him. A lot. This is by far the best thing that I can think of. By talking to him he will know that you are there, first of all. The more you talk, the more suspicious he will get about you liking him. The more things you want to know about HIS life, the more he will know that you are interested!

This is from the slang dictionary
you dropped something

A phrase designed to embarrass someone who is always bragging about a famous person they encountered or a famous place they went.

Doesn't look like its insulting or anything from this explanation. I guess it just depends on the context like the other people who answered said.

Depends on the situation. But it pretty much always means you've dropped something on the floor (good idea to look down and check).

In my case, it means I dropped something. In your case he just wants to see you bend down.

Could be you really did drop something. Or he is just trying to get your attention. A good reply, I don't see it, could you get it for me?
