My son is 2 months old and at night I give him a real nice warm bath, then I feed him, then I play with him and after all that excitement he usually puts himself to sleep. I guess I'm pretty lucky because if he goes to sleep at 11:00 p.m he won't wake up again until around 6:00 or 7:00 a.m when I'm up getting ready for work. I also put a little cereal in his bottle so it will fill him up and relax him at the same time. Running the vacuum cleaner also works well too...the white noise soothes him.

Good Luck...I hope it works out for you!!!

Try keeping her up as much as possible during the day and putting her to sleep around 9:30 or 10. If that doesn't work try taking her a bath at night then feeding her at the same time rocking her and singing to her and she should sleep.

I know how exausting a new Mom"s job can be, I would really keep her awake durning the day, but let her sleep for her scheduled naps, usually a am and afternoon nap, at night before bed give her a warm bath using lavender bedtime soap, and feed her well, they have beautiful music for babies, which is very good for them to hear. I would sleep when my children would sleep, and that helps a lot. Congradulations on your new baby. Best Wishes and Happy Holidays.

I had problems with my son at that age too. It's probably a growth spurt. Try to wake her up early from her naps during the day. Have you thought about putting her to sleep in a crib or bassinet? Sometimes babies wake up when their co-sleeping because they don't sleep as soundly.

baby goes through growth spurts at 4 and 8 weeks and then 3 and 6 months and that affects there sleeping and eating patterns, its normal. worst thing u can do is let baby sleep with you, not only is that a horrible habit but a lor of babies die from suffication due to that
