I was told DEATHLY HALLOWS, not Deadly Hollows. Try getting into the door behind the pink eraser on Rowling's own web site. There's a hangman game to "work out" the name of Book Seven.

Well, I think the hollow she could be referring to could be related to Godric's Hollow, where Harry's parent's were killed. Harry said he was planning on visiting his parents graves which are located there. Perhaps Voldemort and Harry will meet there yet again and finish each other off (or someone will die anyways). So I think that is the deathly part.

Harry Potter and the Deathly (some ones dies here) Hallows (possibly Godric's Hollow).

****LATER**** It is Hallow, not Hollow like I thought. Hallow is a holy person. So, a ghost or saint or something will be a major part in the 7th book?

Well we already know there is going to be at least one significant death of a main character. I'm assuming that's the reason "Deadly" is in the title. Could the "Hollows" be located in Hogwarts? I can hardly wait to read it, but I don't even think she has finished writing it yet. (Although she's known how it all ends for 12 years now, according to interviews with her.)

I'm anxious to find out Snape's role in all of it. I find him to be an intriguing character.

well, i don't know the meaning. but the title is a let down. i thought that j.k. rowling would have a better title. i went to check my e-mail and this borders ad showed up saying the harry potter title. i do hope that the last book will be good. i mean it should be since its the last harry potter book.

It's the end. We all know that Voldemort and/or Harry is going to die. What would you name it??? Don't know? Right, cuz we haven't READ the book yet...Rowling knows what the book is about so I would imagine that she is the best person to give it a name and I am sure we will all know why when we read it.

I think it refers to Harry going to visit Godric's Hallow which is where his parents died.
