Michael Nesmith. He wrote most of their good songs. Peter Tork was underrated; Mickey Dolenz was a better-than-average drummer and good singer; and Davey Jones could do the skate pretty well and was a good singer. Plus the babes liked him the most.

Mike gets my vote because of his songwriting talents.

That's a tough one. I remember watching the Monkee's in early re-runs when I was a little kid in the 1970's (yeah I'm an old fart).

To me it's a tie. Musically, Davy Jones. He was the voice of the Monkees.

Now Michael Nesmith was the quiet one who went onto bigger and better things after the Monkees. He became a record producer and record company executive as well.

I would say Mike Nesmith. Davy Jones just creeped me out.

I dunno. We didn't hear much past Davy Jones, but I believe the others went on to be more successful...so I'll say..Peter York. lol
