Meh. I guess its because they are hot. The only talented celebs out there are Susan Sarandon, Tom Hanks, etc.--older, not as "hot" ones.
Personally I only like Keira Knightley, not Scarlett. Scarlett has such a weird looking face in my opinion.

i think that keira knightley is only good in the pirates of the caribbean and scarlett everyone only like sher because shes a pretty girl.

Well, I'm not sure "deserved" is the best word
I guess if we asked them they would say they worked pretty hard to get where they are. FYI Johannson started in TV when she was quite young and Knightley started on stage.

I'll agree with you on that as far as Kiera Knightley goes...but I don't get tired of Scarlett Johanssen..I LOVED her role on "Girl With A Pearl Earring"...
