Yes. Accroding to historical universal Christian doctrine, Jesus was born with both his human spirit and soul in tact. As others have said to some extent, Christ was at once the Eternal Second Person of the Trinity. In that manger lay the most unique person that would be born--fully human, fully God in one person forever.
Offshoot religions, those that have deviated from this belief have gotten off into things that are commonly called "heresy" by those who adhere to the ancient beliefs.

We all have our part to play, on some level we all know the meaning of our existence, before all things come into existence, all things are.
