rap/hip hop r&b jazz and some raggae and jazz are the best genres out there hands down and i can careless what people think about it give me all the bad votes you want but it damn sure won't change anything so quit your whining!!!

Music is great in all aspects, but, there's so many different types that there isn't a genre that's the "best". Country, hip-hop, punk-rock/pop are some of the most popular stuff. Go with whatever floats your boat.

I don't think there's a superior genre of music. Every genre of music has its own winning artists/bands/etc. Come to think of it, you can't really define any one type of music because there will always be various elements incorporated into each genre. For instance, you could be listening to a song that would typically be considered 'rock,' but it could have rap or polka influences in it without your direct knowing.
I have a pretty eclectic taste in music, but I do have certain preferences. I'm not all that fond of the sex-ho's-money rap stuff; it just really irks me.

i dont know really cause i listen to all types of music besdies i hate rock,punk,oldie country music i dont listen to that but rap,hip hop,techno new country i like them but mostly rap
