Oven Mitts, New casserole dish, magnets for the refridgerator, New kitchen towels, Pay for her next hair appointment, Fill her refrigerator with her favorite groceries. Like v8 juice, Clamato Juice, Cranberry Juice, buy her favorite tea bags, soups.

Depends on what you want to spend. Moms tend to focus on everyone but themselves, so something that is specifically "for her" (as opposed to cookware per se) is always a winner. If you've got a little cash to swing, check around your area for a dayspa and see about a package including a massage, pedicure and manicure. I never met a woman who didn't like that!! You could also give her a gift certificate for dinner out, on you, with you. She picks the place, you pick up the tab, and you spend the evening with her just talking. Or if you're broke, make it for dinner at your place (or at home, don't know how old you are?) and you cook and clean up afterwards. Other ideas, a basket with a chick flick DVD, a box of tissues, and a bag of microwave popcorn; some nice smelling lotion and shower gel to match; scented candles, etc.
Doesn't have to be expensive. Moms are just as proud of macaroni art on construction paper as they are of a trip to Tahiti!

You know what she likes. Music? Earrings? A book? If she's into any type of crafts, supplies are always welcome. A DVD and some popcorn was always one of my favourites. Design your own card to go with the gift. Mothers love that.

How about a nice picture frame for her living room or make it more special buy it to go to her bedroom, so that when she wakes up she sees it every morning.
