Of course you are not old! I can give you 33 years, so I am just old enough to be your grandad, and I have recently joined an organisation which helps the old folks.
So if i'm not old at 62, then you are little more than a babby.
Believe me, when I say, the best is yet to come!

What is old? 28? 25? You are about to embark on the most meaningful time of your life. And the responsibility you have to your two young women is enormous. They are watching every move you make. They are listening. If you think you are old and that it is a bad thing, they will grow up to believe the same.
You have ahead of you love, education, rewarding career or stay at home whichever you choose. Show your young women the true women's spirit, the never ending beauty and the wisdom of a woman's heart. My question is if you did not know how old you were, how old would you be? Live and teach. You are not old. Just growing stronger and smarter.

Being young or old is the state of mind. I am 60 years young. I do not think that you are 29 years old. You are 29 years young and just having a lot of responsibilities.

no but being responsible for the kids makes you mature- although if you have to doubt that you're still young then there should be a little concern- are you a broing old fart as a 29 year old?

You are as old as you feel. I feel as though I'm 21 but i'm 28.... Yes you are getting old- everyone is- each day that goes by means you're a day older.

eh no i am 33 i have a 10-nearly 11 year old and a 4-nearly 5 year old i struggled for both my kids and i feel young with them. i experience life with them, i am the youngest in my family and i remember my parents having parties at home as a child when they were very young(with 4 kids) they have retired early as they worked bloody hard to get where they are now and so we as kids could have what we needed, which was love and affection which was never short of in our family. no-matter how hard my parents worked they had love for each and every one of us

You're still a baby mate, and not out yer nappies yet-come back when you can shave lol lol lol--you young whipper snappers...you want to enjoy life whilst you can, you want to forget about all this "old" business-it will creep up on you soon enough!! The SECOND part to your post is correct-we are ALL of us getting older-the moment we step out that womb we start getting older, so you are not wrong there...but 29-do you feel old or something?????

By the criteria and standards of someone much younger than you, then your 10,592 days of age, are going to be 'older' than that of 'they,' if not (a subjective internal standard define through undisclosed criteria) 'Old' in itself.

You may well have much less energy than your children, making them feel somewhat superior, for example. But you have (one 'assumes'!) the whit and wisdom to measure what energy you have and to pace yourself accordingly ~ and thus gathering to yourself through your offspring something of a 'Reputation.' I suggest that you spend this wisely, by the way.

However, it won't last, well, not out loud, and will all but evaporate as they reach those awful - "Teens" - But, in time, when you reach further into and towards the 'Older' Age, your gained reputation will re-emerge to be looked on anew with fresh eyes.

There you are then, your life (well, some 'bits' of it) have been mapped out for you. :-)

It's up to you to take the pickings out of it and in the end, decide on your own age ~ day by day by day.

Good luck with it all.
Sash.

Hell no. When I was a teenager, I felt 30 was old, when I was 30 I felt 60 was old, now I'm pushing 40, I think I'm still young, and 80 is old. It's all a state of mind.
