Yes, you can. If you have a tv tuner card in your computer, you would just hook up your satellite receiver to this card and start watching tv. But your question about a particular (nfl live) channel is no, you cannot get it even with a tv tunner card. There are software that you can purchase that lets you stream tv channels to your computer via the internet. Google or yahoo it for software and tv on computer. I looked it once, but don' remember the exact software. Hope this info helps.
