The answers above are correct in princlple, however, you need to specify the payoff date (the day THEY will receive the check.
You may want to give yourself an extra week, unless it's an electronic fund transfer by your bank.)
Any extra money they receive will be refunded to you - usually within a month

Find your payment book. It will have an account number, perhaps the name and phone number and address of the finance company. Lets say the number is 123456. Call them, say "I need to know the payoff price for loan number 123456"
Send a check for that amount, they will send you a lien release.

I would call the loan company. Also the payoff amount is often on the monthly invoice for you payment.

that is quite easy you just call your lender and ask for a payoff on your account it helps to have your account number handy and they are good for about ten days then it will change good luck with the equity

just call your bank or credit union, who ever you have your loan thru, and ask for a payoff amount, they can give you the amount daily.
