I made a solar oven in 8th grade.. it's pretty easy, and i made brownies for my class. :)

You can research homemade solar ovens online... all you really need is a cardboard box, aluminum foil, and a piece of glass. (make sure the glass is not too thin, you don't want it to break... but if it's too thick, the project might not work. .5-1.5 cm thicknesses are good)

The science aspect of this project covers solar energy - something that can be used to power homes, cars, etc.

I also did a science fair in the 6th grade too, and my friend did this really cool thing when you a fan-type substance using wires and paper clips and batteries she made the fan work. I hope this helps.

Make homemade ice cream.
All you need is Vanilla, 4 cups crushed ice, Sugar,Milk + Salt

Or make a model of the earths air layers or crust layers and display a Diorama.

u can do it on the Heidenburg tradegy. A airplane(?)blew up because something with the oxygen. Do it on gravity.Or maybe a star chart
