Not ONLY is it POOR sportsmanship, if you hit someone just right OR WRONG in this case, you could render them unconscious, paralyzed (for hitting certain parts of the head of neck) OR you could KILL THEM Mr. GENIOUS....sheesh.. Um, I'd say it' smacks of malice aforethought (TO FREEZE WATER IN A BALLON you KNOW you're going to throw would indicate this was thought out...ergo AFORETHOUGHT with MALICE...the intent to HARM..
with the very intent of causing someone Serious injury, you could kill someone fairly easily. I would venture to say at the LEAST it would be an B felony, intent to cause great bodily harm, to an A felony, ATTEMPTED MURDER. sheesh, what the HELL are you thinking..no, don't tell me you're not. But if you're IQ is low enough and it just might be, you may get off with manslaughter ONE. However you would probably get MURDER ONE, because you could NOT argue that FROZEN water in a ballon wasn't meant to merely give someone A "scare"...you're really damaged dude. I'd post bond right now.

it's all fun & games until someone looses an eye.
then it's just funny.
don't get sued. we live in such a litiginous society that plenty of people just don't see the humor in a 4lb spherical slab of ice upside the head.

man, and i thought i was bad. I used to fill mine w' freezing cold water..and the old rock in the snowball bit too. That was w' my brothers when i was younger though. lol
