Yes, we always tried to decorate with whatever we had that we could use, it was nice. It helped keep our spirits up.

Thanksgiving and Christmas were the biggest...but also New Year's...spent too many of those on deployment or on duty.

Christmas, yes - but not the others - they just came and went in the field.
