Like people have previously said, if the abortion went well, with no complications, then it shouldn't affect your fertility at all... there is however a small small chance of miscarriage, and having a premature baby. I had an abortion a week ago.. and i regret it soo much. :o( I'm still having cramping pains.... and started bleeding again. I thought that was the sign of an infection... but I rang my support line and a nurse told me it was normal? I'm soo scared that something will go wrong, and I won't be able to have children..... I can't bare thinking about it. I should have taken my chance to be a mother when I could. I miss feeling pregnant.

Of course you will be able to conceive again after an abortion unless you had complications during the procedure, and your doctor would have told you if there was anything wrong. I strongly recommend using an extra birth control method after you have an abortion because your body recover and then you will be EXTRA fertile! So, if you really don't want to have kids, be careful. If you do want kids, then you will have no trouble getting pregnant again. Good luck, whatever you decide.

Of course. As long as the abortion was performed by a medical professional and you have done a follow up with a doctor afterwards.

There are no 100% fact to show that abortion (done properly and by a medical professional) decreases your chances of future conception :)

You should be able to conceive after an abortion, unless the doctor performing it has bungled it badly.

All the women I know who've had abortions were able to conceive later.

In one case, a friend of mine had two abortions and got pregnant again (and had a third abortion...), as far as I know she's still fertile.

So, I wouldn't worry about, you should be able to conceive when you want a child.

One day when you are ready sure, as long as you dont have other health problems that could stop that. . I hope that you are using condoms or some kind of birth control in the mean time though. Happy Holidays!

Hopefully not. I think if you kill a baby, you should be deprived of the joy a child brings.
