what can i do if my Wii remote cant locate the console?

the batteries are good.... so whats the problem?

You need to sync your wiimote and your Wii console for your console to recognize the wiimote.

To do this, both your wiimote and your actual Wii console have a little red button. I think you need to remove the battery case to see the red button on the wiimote and the red button is on the front of the wii next to the SD card slot (you need to open that little thingy to access it). Hit the red button on the remote then hit the red button the console. That should sync them up!

it tells you how to sync your remote in one of the handbooks that came with the system. I think it's in the white book. I remember reading about it.
