you betcha.
we derived a very scientific theory many a year ago: at any given time, there are only about 15 fruitcakes in the world, and they constantly swirl through the mail in an endless chain of re-gifting. should anyone actually be unwise enough to open and eat a fruitcake, if one whiff of the sour/cloying thing doesn't stop them, one bite sure will. at which point in time, a new fruitcake will be purchased to inflict on the giver...resulting in a net gain of 0 fruitcakes, and a constant 15ish in the world.

Of course. You are probably the 16 or 17th person to get the one you have, so why not pass it on? Fruitcakes have a longer shelf life than Twinkies.

Fruit cakes were NEVER meant to be eaten. I used my last one as a door stop. Sure ... I may have a few ants, but the door stays open. ha ha ha
