No, I don't avoid them but I do get weary of hearing the same old F*** word. Gee, what is that.

Oilfieldl said it best. Can't help being around the people who curse. Of course If I avoided all the people who curse, I'd never speak to any of my family for starters. And that is just for starters. It's sad, maybe it be better if I do avoid them hahaha.

When the Word says not to swear or take an oath.
It's talking about swearing an allegiance to
sombody or something. Because we might have to break the vow, and that creates karma. We will have to own up to it.
Cussing is of course not something we want to do. We
have a spirit within, and the spoken word, (sound), is very powerful.
I'm afraid my biggest vice is cussing. And no matter
what I say and do for the Lord. Somebody wants to jump
on my weakness, and call me "less" than a Christian.
Which of course, gets me cussing!

I do not avoid talking to anybody. The use of curse words in everyday use only proves their ignorance of proper etiquette.
It just shows how grown up they are, still trying to impress or shock others with there terminology. they feel they can not get your attention with out shocking you.

*** no. At least I know they're honest. It's hard to trust people who carefully select their words. I enjoy intelligent conversation as much as the next person, but I would never avoid speaking to anyone who displays plain honesty.

Who the hell could find "curse" words offensive when we have to deal with all the racial/ethnic slurs and other MUCH more offensive and hateful comments that people don't even think twice about making?
