Nobody will bother answering but just in case....
Do you people really get offended when somebody talks about murder and terrorism? Do you actually think that if we stop talking about them they'll stop existing? Very well, hide behind your smiling faces and pretend the world is such a lovely jolly place. Maybe it will become if you pretend too much, eh?

it will not go away if you don't think about it. The problem now is We seem to have 2 types of terrorism. First one - the real terrorism. The Second one - it's when too many BANG about nothing.
At one side: why we don't look closely WHY on Earth someone wants to be a terrorist. No one is born as a terrorist. At another side - we have to have need to spend loads of money for all that famous security organisations. And a terror alert is always amber... It is like a kids game to be honest.

I don't I think we should talk about it as much as possible to keep it alive in our brains. I think that every commercial break they should show the buildings falling to this day so that we remember what the victim's families will never be able to forget. We all live our little lives and forget all of the men and women that are fighting to keep us free. Or we b!@#h that the war is costing to much $ - SHUT UP! I don't want to hear you complain until you can come up with a better solution to getting rid of terrorism as we now know it!!! IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE WAY THIS COUNTRY IS RAN GO AWAY OR GO OUT AND ACTUALLY VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES IN THE SAME THINGS AS YOU!

We need to discus murder and terrorism in the hope that the exchange of ideas and information will give us the intellectual equipment to deal with them better than we do now. No, I am not "offended" by such discussions - I see them as opportunities.

I've been laughing my airse off at the silly woman who has been stalking me, because I used a pic of Myra Hindley as my avatar. For some reason, she assumes that I am likely to be a danger to society!
I wasn't trying to be offensive, and I am not easily offended, except by individuals who close their minds to the bigger picture. The whole world is warped by war, chaos and destruction, but when people choose to bury their heads in the sand about it, it becomes terrifying. It is ridiculous to set oneself apart, and presume that morality and empathy are, indeed, human nature. It is in the nature of all to be part of the destruction, but we have a choice. We can actively choose to evolve our own consciousness and be an active participant for the good of humanity.
Being an armchair critic, and assuming one is 'above all that' will never solve the problem, if it is, indeed, a problem we can solve...

No don't get offended - recognise that the world in which we live is a beautiful world but often a horrible one due to man's behaviour in many ways - murder, terrorism, greed, violence etc. etc.

I don't think it will ever go away... if you think about it, both have been around about as long as men. If you believe in the Bible, the first murder was in our second generation.
In my pretend world only the scumbags that murder are the ones that get murdered

Just because the world is not a perfect place does not mean that anyone have the power to go around the world bullying other nations in the name of 'justice/freedom' ?

Great question! I do not get offended at all but it is like the 800 lb gorilla in the room that no one dare mention...if we ignore it it will go away...I think that we should talk about it more but in a real world way and not with fear and panic bulding bomb shelters like the whole nuclear scare of years ago...

Talking about it or not ~ it still exists. It's still a horrible thing that is ruining lives, killing people and tearing families apart. So who cares if we pretend it's not there... Sometimes everyone needs a retreat!
