If you're a Romantic or a dreamer, then yes,
love would be the ultimate source of hope.
If you're a Realist, or you've had your heart broken,
I think your ultimate hope would be money

The definition of love varies from individual to individual- some who have never experienced it have hope that someday they will; sounds like a paradox. I would like to think that understanding and compassion is a source of hope.

Yes. Knowing is even better than hoping. Hope is a mental/emotional state, knowing is Soul's celebration that love is.

The bible says that Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Romans 1-19/20 states that all things from creation have been shown all there is to know of God even unto the eternal power and Godhead. To me this means we all know we are one with God but have lost awareness of "it". Faith is the spirit of god prompting us to seek him. The essence of our being is unconditional love, we have unity with God in unconditional love within our heart. "God dwells within you as you." It appears to me that God, as unconditional love, stirs us to seek, we know not what. this gives us "hope" as we begin to awaken to the reality that is already within our heart "hope" becomes "Faith", knowing, though not yet seen. By "faith" we work our way through the Level of "law" then by Grace of a Saint(There are many ) baptizing us in spirit we rise into Union with God in unconditional love within our heart. Thus i would say Yes, we are prompted by "Unconditional Love" to "Hope" into "Faith" into "unconditional Love" Which is the ultimate Source of all things for it is God himself.
