He signed the Constitution, but not Declaration of Independence. He was President of the Constitutional Convention, so his signature is on that document, but he was away at war during the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

george washington didn't sign the declaration of independence, he was a military man then, not a political person. he did sign the constitution - search the web for signers of the constitution and you'll find a painting with George right in front of the room of signers
