Well, there are African braids, ie, cornrows, etc. Just type in a generic search like, African Braids.com and see what you come up with. You will see links for DVD's that teach how to braid and you will see links that direct you to sites where you can see different types of braids. Also, you can get the magazine called simply "Braids" which has a gazillion pics of women wearing all types of braids. Hope this helps.

just type in a type of braid you want in google or yahoo.
