For the first time ever... I agree with Rosie O'Donnell. Trump of all people shouldn't be the one giving others a lesson in morality. To even look at beauty pageants as something representing a wholesome facade is laughable at best. These women are groomed at a young age, to act a certain way, eat a certain way, pretty much.. live their lives a certain way. All in the name of putting on an act for others to buy into. I think I'd rather take 300 pound Rosie's honesty.. than a 110 pound porcelain doll hoping not to move too much, lest she crack and her self imposed image of perfection is shattered.

I feel that there is a right time for second chances, this is not one of them. You can't change the rules in mid-stream, all that have lost their crowns in the past now needs to get it back. She new the rules when she got involved with this whole pageant thing, I am sorry....... I do think the old Donald has a thing for blonde's.. But I do have to say that it's been along time since I had laugh so hard when I saw Rosie and Donald fighting on T.V.

Rosie is a "has-been" and a lesbian, which is an abomination. She has no room to judge anybody, as she is a sexual deviat.
Donald is an self-admitted adulterer. End of story. He did not go around blasting Rosie, until she blasted him for doing something nice for a person (conflicted or not). He was reaching out and giving the woman a second chance. Rosie doesn't give anybody a second chance. She is always right; therefore she is always wrong and losing friends. Baba Walters better watch out. The View is on its way out and what is left of her reputation is headed to the dump. I say good riddance to both.
I am so glad Meredith got out and finally on a show worth her talent.

Considering he has a show called The Apprentice, I expected him to fire her. He took the higher road and gave her a second chance. As far as her under age drinking...she just turned 21. Can anyone else say they waited to the day they turned 21 to try alcohol.

I wouldn't have a problem with the underage drinking, but there are more serious allegations, including of cocaine use. It's also not as if she was just drinking once or twice; ti seems like she has a serious problem. If it is really serious, then I don't like the "second chance" because she can't say she just made a mistake once or twice.

It became a competent determination yet i did no longer relish seeing her in tears like that on national television. yet Donald Trump loves being on the rostrum with cameras flashing on him consistently. he's his very own greatest fan.

The Donald has carried that mean, no-nonsense image with him now for a long time. I guess his public relation agency in Manhattan, told him to lighten up and start acting like a nice guy instead of the "You're fired" personality he portrays on TV.

I don't think it's ok to give a second chance in this case and I think Vanessa Williams should get her crown back since they took hers for something she did before she even did the pageant. She is a role model. Seriously who does that.

I would say good for her and too bad the same could not have been done for Vanessa Williams who did go on to have a successful singing and acting career. I know another who became a newscaster but the rest seemed to have just faded out of the limelight.

I thought he did a good deed. She's young and he had a brother Fred that died of alcohol abuse who he still misses and often said Fred was smarter and better looking than himself. He proved to be a compassionate man and only his money was a risk. He took it and it said a lot about him and his belief in Second Chances. We all need that. It was the kind and charitable thing to do.
