The world and all the life on Earth as we know it will end in 4 Billion years when The Sun expands and the water evaporates. The only creatures to experience the engulfment will be humans voyaging to a new home and survivors of the heat.

I often hear misinformation like this. While the book of Revelations says that the world will eventually come to an end, no one can predict when it will happen. It might be 2 seconds and it might be 2 billion years. My advice to you is to live life and not worry about the end of the world; if it really is going to end in six years then everyone should sort out their priorities and worrying about the world's end isn't one of mine because the Bible says that before the world's end all of the people of faith will go to heaven instantly in the rapture.

If you had actually read the link you posted you would have seen this:

The end of the 13th b'ak'tun is conjectured to have been of great significance to the Maya, but does not necessarily mark the end of the world according to their beliefs, but a new beginning or time of re-birth.

you are partly correct. In exactly 6 years from now, some people, animals and plants will die... Forest will have been clear-cut, lake severely polluted... so those "worlds" will have ended...
but this also happens every day.

The moral of this story. Don't believe everything you read on the Internet.

No, and neither do you or the Mayans. GOD created this world and everything in it. HE controls the time and place of our final destiny. I hope that you are really joking about this because it is really funny to me. Jesus Christ was sent and died for our sins so that we would have an opportunity to be in HEAVEN with HIM in the after-awhile. Be patient and that time will come but we are told that no man will know the time, the FATHER ONLY! Read and study the BIBLE so that you to may become a CHRISTIAN and have an opportunity to be in heaven! Have a great Christmas!!
