Spent a few weeks in Grimsby some time ago - Scunthorpe is about 15 miles down the line...a fair wee town, actually it's what one would expect- friendly and warm - but with most places in that part of the world, it takes time to know of the atmosphere (and dare I say it, attitude).

Nice one, Philip...your photo portrays you as someone either rubbing up against middle-age, or well in it. Thought such answers came from people far younger - which shows up my particular prejudice. Never mind...we all get it wrong sometimes. Take care, now...

I've been through Scunthorpe a few times , it looks ok but I don't know what it's like to live there

Scunthorpe's not a bad place to exist, but live? I'd have to get back to you on that one.
