Being a srtist myself I would pick the form I love the most the female body. In your case go for a female angel holding something...maybe a sword.

Look into your heart. Into your spirit. Into your dreams. Into your soul. Into your connection to the Great Creator.

Perhaps you are looking for inspiration instead of simply being inspired. You could be looking too hard. Try not looking. Not thinking. Instead listen to the wonderful, delightful, amazing, annoying chirping of the world around you. Let your eys inspire you: go to a cathedral, a cemetery, a garden, a museum, a university campus, a day care center, a rodeo. In short at this stage of the process, don't be the jug maker - be the jug.

First of all are you suing a wheel or are you hand building?
If it is wheel I can't help you much, but for hand building I would suggest trying to make somthing challenging. The piece can be non objective and just have a cool looking thing, or you can have it looking like somthing.
Try flipping through some books of art and see if you find anything that strikes a chord.

i think we as artist get what writers get(writers block) or creativity block. Get ot and around change your routine or check out diffent types or media. Be open minded to new techniques, change your style a little. Look at life around you, go on a road trip......check out other artist around you, and its good what you are doing asking for suggetions and advice good luck ...listen to whats inside you and not what people want you to create.

the female form is widely used by all artists.
but my advice is for you to be original. Be the picasso of the 21st century.
look inwards and sculpt the things in life you love the most.
good luck!!
