england had 4 through to the group stages whichis more than any other country (germany, spain, italy, portugal and france all had 3)
but all 6 of those countries had 2 guaranteed spots and the rest were decided by a knockout stage - just happens that 2 more english clubs got through and only 1 more of the others did
All had the same opportunity - just the English clubs that took it

Yes, when the Champions League started Spain, Italy and England all had 4 teams but now it's only England who's 4 teams have qualified for the knock out stage.

Not only England, Spain, Italy has four teams in championship league but one of them has been knocked out during qualifying round.
England is the best because Manu Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool not only qualify in last 16 but also become top of each individual group.
So, I predict there will 3 England teams entering QuaterFinal this time.

England, Spain and Italy all have 4 Champions' League slots. The top two qualify automatically while 3rd and 4th have to play in the third qualifying round.
This season, Liverpool and Arsenal made it past the qualifying round to join Chelsea and Man U in the group stages. However, Spain's fourth representative, Osasuna, was knocked out by Hamburg during qualifying, hence Spain only has three teams in the group stages this season. Similarly, Chievo, Italy's fourth place team in the aftermath of the Italian match-fixing scandal, was knocked out by Levski Sofia during qualifying, so Italy also has three teams in the group stages.

The English Premiership is the best league in the world hence every player in the world wants to play here. If other countries want 4 teams in the Champions League then they first need to improve their domestic leagues.

in the group stages portugal had 4 too.porto,v.setubal,sporting lisbon and benfica.but once celtic finish mlian the english beter watch out. celtic1-1 chelsea at stamford bridge. celtic 2-0 everton.celtic 2-0 liverpool at anfield.celtic 1-0 man utd. mon the hoops.

italy,germany,england and spain..all have four teams quota for CL...
top 2 directly enter the group stages while other 2 hafta play qualifying round...
since perfomrances of greman clubs have been below par as compared to english or italian clubs..uefa is thinking of taking one spot from them and give it to any other country like belgium or france or may be greece..
