not saying i wasnt a good person before. But no-one ever came up to me i never known in person and ask personnal questions about their lives before. So it kinda opens up a barrier in normal everyday people.

I think I have become aware of how complex and diverse we are as people (and I am not speaking lgbt, but generally). I am not sure I have become friendlier, but I have been more aware of others center, and not quite so quick to jump to conclusions without losing my own center.

I have met some really amazing people online, and quite frankly seen dark sides of people that at times seems overwhelming. The latter energizes me to be an agent of change.

I come to YA maybe to give a helping hand to those that are just starting down their path to accepting their own sexuality, and that is a reward enough to keep me coming back if I can help someone.

Since I have been exposed to Yahoo I have definitely become someone different. I have learned things about religion that I had no ideal people think the way they do and all those different religion. I am indeed more understanding of lots of things. So far as being friendly, no, not in the religion section cause lots of misunderstanding.

Honestly, since I've joined Yahoo I had no idea what a sheltered life I led. Don't laugh but I thought there were only 3 religions Christian, Jewish & Muslims. I have learned so much more on here than I have in my 40 years of living. I'm making sure than my daughter isn't as niave as I was

Well, sort of, at least when I'm answering a question. Yet, I still have my moments when my emotions at a particular moment shape my responses into perhaps being harsher or less tolerant than our Lord would have me be.

It has made me realize that so many people around the world have the same thoughts and feelings that I do. It makes me feel like I'm not alone.

No. Yahoo has had absolutely nothing to do with my outlook and mindset on society. I've always been compassionate & understanding non-judgemental since birth. I'll give my PARENTS & GOD the credit for making me that way before i give it to Yahoo!

I realize more and more that there are a lot more people out there than I thought that think like me, or are a lot like me. and, unfortunately, even in this day and age, still a lot of ignorant bigots out there, too. education is a wonderful thing!

I find that it is not always easy to be tolerant of the intolerant. Is that an oxymoron or what?
