i have a good friend who i feel comfortable saying " love you " to ..i sense that she is uncomfortable saying it back which does not bother me cause i know that its hard for some people to say that ...my question is should i stop telling her " love u " to her ..i dont want to make her feel uncomfortable or feel like she has to return the gesture

Thats hard...have you asked her if it makes her uncomfortable? Well if not ask her and tell her to be honest and if she wants you to stop then maybe you should consider it. I have a friend like that too but she says "I love you" and I say it back. Its just a nice thing to do. Just explain to her you care about her but your not looking to take your relationship as friends any farther...unless you are.

If you know your words are making someone feel uncomfortable- stop saying them.

say u love her ideas, her fashion taste, her car, her hair, whatever...see what happens...
