Its hard if you're younger, but maybe when you're not playing and the game is stored away somewhere you could take out some of the money and hide it. Then when you're playing the game later, you add some of that money to the money the game initially gives you. You have to be careful so they don't see you add the money to your pile.
You don't have to be the banker in my scheme, and its better if you're not since they won't suspect you planned ahead.

Make sure you are assigned banker (gives out/takes money). That way, when you receive money from the bank (ie: passing GO), then give yourself two $500 bills instead of two $100 bills. Likewise, when buying property, give less to the bank than actual face value. Example: Give only $100 for a $400 Broadway property. You are the banker. Nobody will know. Also, when moving your space, count how many you need before rolling, and move your piece to the spot you were aiming for, not the actual amount of spaces on the dice.

There is no way to cheat in Monopoly with out doing the classic card scam in Blackjack or card games... If you do the money adding to the pile like the posts above me they will notice that your pile is bigger than there and if your banker they will suspect you miss counted or they would think that you cheated. They wont wanna play with a cheater....

My answer to that is don't play, get another playmate. If you don;'t mind getting into a mindless arguement, when they cheat, call them on it. You should not lower your playing standard and quality. My question to you is how great is the win if you cheat? If you want to "get them back"! What would that accomplish, nothing. That is IMHO.
But if you want to know...
Be the banker... I was the younger player in my family. My older brother now tells me that when we played he cheated when he losing. He would get "change" from the bank. For example put in five $10s to 1 $100.
BTW He was four years older... and my older brother let him (He was six years older) the shame of it.

Why cheat? Why play with cheaters? Do you respect these people who cheat at board games? No, of course not... why lose your self-respect, too?
