Some of the Americal play cricket. That is why there is USA Cricket team in existence.

I'm American. I've heard of cricket but it really is not played over here. Americans play games like Baseball, Basketball, and American Football. That doesn't mean that there aren't Americans that haven't played cricket, it is just rare.

Sure you might find an American somewhere that does, but no not really. Cricket is a quintessentially British game played mainly in England and in certain former colonies.
