If I could go back in time, I wouldn't end up going. I think that I'd spend all my life trying to decide what to do. Maybe when I got really old I'd go, but since that hasn't happened, I can't really say what I'd do. I'd try and fix something maybe, but what if what I fix ends up worse later? There are so many questions and considerations. Maybe I would decide to not go at all. "Great power comes with great responsibility."

Knowing me I'd change it. One of the reasons we shouldn't investigate time travel.
I'd go back, see some injustice and then attempt to correct it, which could end my life or make the future very different to the point no one remembered me even existing.
Quite the paradox.

I would just want to go back far enough to make sure that I NEVER married -- that was such a disaster (personally, emotionally, financially, physically, and in every other way -- he was abusive, violent, and his mental illness problems were hidden by him and his family).

I would go back to see my family lineage. I know very little about my family, because my father was a b-a-s-t-a-r-d (in the proper sense -- didn't know his real father). I'd like to see who my very first ancestors were, be it a microbe, or a couple like Adam & Eve.
Also, along the way back to present day, I'll file some b*tchin' patents before heading home.

I would want to go mainly as an observer and not interfere in things. Also to be immune from the diseases and other dangers. It would be interesting to watch some battles and also see how people lived from day to day.
