No, personally I don't. I'm 36 and my partner is 25. It makes no difference to anything at all. Age is but a number. Corny but true.
Unless of course one of you is under 16, then yes, it does matter.

I don't think we should allow society to dictate age restrictions in relationships. There is a 21 year age gap between my boyfriend and I (I'm 27). I have never been happier in my life. Just like with any relationship, it needs to have the essentials like trust, understanding, communication, interests, goals, etc. If those elements are in place, then nothing else matters. Love is the greatest feeling in the world, and age shouldn't stop anyone from experiencing it.

No it does not matter to the couple, but in society anything that is not the norm is Taboo so i will say the only reason age matters is for maturity in a relationship.

Age is a number - but the legal age of consent must be observed. After that age, a person must make up their mind about their love life, whom to date, for how long, their age, and all that goes with it. It is best left to two people to decide the 'right' ages for their partners.

My husband is 28 years older than me and we've been happy together for more than 10 years. It doesn't matter if you don't want it to matter.

True love between two people has no barrier, that is if they are within the right age limit.

No, I don't. My girlfriend and I are 30 years apart. We have been together for four years and we're happy. It's the communication and what we think is a natural connection or bonding,if you will.
