This country is made up of people from many different nationalities, but why is the government mainly white males? I not trying to be racist or anything. I just thought about it one day. America has many different ethnicities but why is our House and Senate only made up of one mostly? Why aren't there any Mexican, Chinese, African(beside Obama), etc and more females? Why doesn't the government reflect the country? Do you guys understand what I'm asking?

Because you Americans have a strange version of democracy that is based on the true equality of having to be incredibly rich. That is why you don't get the best person as President, but the richest one.

Whites comprise the majority and they are bound to be the majority in government too. Partly also will be issues of race - because white people are the majority, they are likely to vote for white people more than they would a black, hispanic or asian.

gotta to go with the handed down wealth ,alot of oil money and they got to protect it, then of course there are arms contracts etc. etc. etc.
