Bush has a short window to act and it's November 2008.
That window will not close until he swings public opinion towards the Republican Party.
He will create another 'false-flag' CIA opp like he did in 9/11 opp.
Bush has read the book written by Edward Bernays... PROPAGANDA. Goebel used it also. Bring fear to the people and they will accept anything you say... even go to war. The people will not even look at the evidence. They will trust the Strongman first and after much suffering from war only then will they begin to look for the why???
Look the Strongman killed JFK. The Warren Commission was a joke. The people couldn't do anything about it. The country is not by the people and for the people, it is by the Strongman and for the Strongman.
Give the Strongman any name you want. He has the power to buy Congressman, CEO, police, judges, media owners, property owners, anyone in a place of authority. You could call it the 'Government Mafia Elitists'.

Yes, that appears to be the plan, whether congress or the American people can stop it ,remains to be seen.
We can however be sure that there will be many unforeseen consequences, Millions of Shi'ite Muslims may well revolt in other countries, wreak havoc in Iraq, and Iran can target other oil producing countries. China and Russia probably wouldn't get militarily involved, but they can reduce further the US. Dollars in their reserves. It could well lead to a world wide recession, and region wide war.
Oilmen love high oil prices however, and some also show no regard for human life, can't be re-elected and therefore have nothing to lose.

Just to be clear - you are asking whether the US will strike by air or not; you are not asking whether it will be smart/good/ok for the US to attack. Okay.
Well, the answer is, the USA will not strike, iff, the Mossad is tracking this Y!Answers. I do not mean to patronize, we all know that Mossad is way too smart (cunning). If they sense, that the smartest guys in the Net, (you, answerman) have committed to revolt against Washington if Iran is attacked, then Mossad will not instigate/order Washington to do it. And I suspect that has been the case - they have asked Washington to hold the Bombs. Proof? No more coverage of that in the news anymore!

What was the first step exactly? "Don't make nuclear weapons" "We're not making nuclear weapons" *bombs away*. Hardly sounds like the actions of a reasonable country to me. If you're going to bomb Iran then give them an ultimatum first.
However, if the US and UK declare war on Iran and decide to invade we'll have to bring conscription back. The army is simply too far stretched in Iraq to deal with a country twice the size, with twice the population, a regular army of half a million and a paramilitary with 11 million. Try selling that to the general public.

That would be a huge mistake.
Remember Iran is the country that has a ceremony every year in remembrance of Alexander the Great attacking them 2500 years ago. Persia's darkest day
Iranians have the gold medal in memory. They remember more than any other culture on earth. That is there strength and we should capitalize on it Evoke the good memories of the Past and lean on old trusts.
Now the opposite is us. We are a young Nation with few bad memories. There is a diplomatic answer to this emotional conflict.
And don't forget all it takes to end it is a purchase order for some fuel rods to Kerr McGee. As always it is about money and energy more than Nuking your neighbor.

Were talking about putting more troops in Iraq also, it is another scary moment brought to you by George W. Bush and his new band of merry men, Do you think that this was brought up and Rumsfeld opposed it is why he got fired. If we attack Iran I am going to form a militia and take Washington DC off the map. I will break out every street light and the criminals there will do the rest. Even the criminal in the white house will get in on this action, probably steeling TVs. In answer to your question, we will have to wait to see, but it vary well could happen, they might be trying to provoke Iran into attacking Israel so as to have an excuse.

With Iran nuclear facilities deep underground how is bombing them going to do any more than start a war we cannot win? Iran has not existed for these many years by being stupid. We may kill some people and do some damage but not to the extent this government thinks. A reader said Bush would need permission, since when has he acknowledged he needed permission for any of his actions.

It is probably not going to happen anytime soon.
The newly democratic senate wouldnt give Bush the go ahead to instigate any new military confrontations in the middle east for the moment.
Iran just concluded their largest military exercise (adeptly called War Games) in the Persian Gulf, in which they displayed thier newly developed Shahab missiles and torpedos. This US move to increase their naval power in the Persian Gulf is simply meant to show the Iranians that the US adminstration still has a massive military might in the Persian Gulf.

Iran's only crime is trying to sell in Euros and trying to stop the spread of fascist zionism and fascist christianity.
Iran is not as radical as we think. It's less radical than UTAH!

Iran is acting out the same reason N. Korea is, they both realize we are overextended in the Gulf as it is. The problem with both countries is that sanctions can't work because of both Russia and China. So it leaves little alternative. The best option is to let Israel take care of them.
