Yes

Some of these questions are sooooooooooooooo easy!

Take calculus.

It is hard for some, easy for others. These days there are types of calculus out there also. A multi-pronged reform movement based on the rule of four - GNAV graphical, numerical, algebraic, verbal - versus the traditional. Also there are systemic differences, like Calc for the life sciences, liberal arts, sciences, engineering, or math majors. Once you get the big ideas, it all amounts to the same stuff.

I LOVE CALCULUS!!

I took it as a junior and then got a 5 on the AP Calc test. Three of us took a second year our senior and ended up teaching ourselves mostly. I got another 5 though so yeah.

Calculus is great because it brings together all the crap they made you learn and shows you what it all means. It was great taking trig-based physics my senior year after a year of calc because I was able to see how all the equations were related and how the concepts were connected.

Like I said, I loved it and I REALLY recommend taking it. I'm a big math guy so saying it was easy isn't going to tell you anything. But, it is challenging at times but when you really get the concepts, it is just so awesome.

Also, I suggest getting a TI-89 if they are allowed in your class. The only warning is that if you become to reliant on it, it will destroy your chances of learning properly. On the other hand, it can be a great tool especially with my programs that I write for it: http://calculusman.formulasuite.com

Okay, I'm done with my rant about calculus now. Seriously, take the class.

Every year your math gets a little harder, but only in the sense that expectations are higher as you have more background. Calculus will be no harder for you than any other course, assuming you have "learned" math instead of just passing tests.

My students have no trouble learning the calculus. The hard part is due to their ability (or lack thereof) to do algebra!

Calculus let's you solve some very complex and interesting problems. You will be amazed at what you can do!!

Of course take it!
No math lover can be without it.

Calculus may be the most important human invention of the past 500 years. It is tool with which the bulk of physics since Newton is built. To have a modern understanding of the world, it is essential.

Hard? Calculus is challenging and rigorous, but it is no "harder" than a proofs-based course in Euclidean geometry.
