Just because we like to smell pleasant doesn't mean we want someone to "hit" on us. Do you think we were thinking of you when we bought it? Should we go around smelling funky so you won't think we're extending an invitation to you?

They do it to attract men, but are only interested in men that meet their specifications, which from the sound of your question does not include you. On rating scale of 1 to 10 you can only usually move 2 points up or down unless you have a great line of ****. So normally an 8 can hit on a 10 but he's better have some game, but an 8 can pretty safely hit on a 6,7 or 8. You need to be realistic and stop going out of your league.
