You seem as upset as I am for the reasons we are fighting in Iraq.
Actually the people that caused 9/11 were mainly from Saudi Arabia, but you never hear a peep about that.
We are not there because of 9/11 ... we are there because Bush lied to get us there ... now it's a mess over there. Not because of us, but because the different Muslim factions are fighting EACHOTHER!! Like a civil war. We don't have any specific 'enemies' over there now ... they are their own enemies with eachother. And we are just getting killed because we are in their way ... not so much because they hate us, although I'm sure some must do!
I agree we need to get outta there sooner rather than later ... but the Pentagon is still under the delusion they can make a difference and settle things there. I don't believe they can do it by themselves.
The consensus of the Iraq Report says we need to negotiate with Syria & Iran ... and Mr Bush is too stubborn to do that.
I think we need to take the advice of the very wise people who have much more experience in these matters than Bush does, who said in their Iraq Report, that this is the best way to do it.
Recently, The President of Iran wrote an open letter to the American People. I will attach it here so you can read what he said, and make up your own mind if he is sincere or not.

I think you have a valid point. Throughout history Americans have had to deal with this issue: Do we worry about the freedom/treatment of others throughout the world? The saying: With great power comes great responsibility. Ever since the 1900s we became a world power so - we have the power. Now when the Soviet Union starts forcing communism on the world after WWII do we prevent that from happening? A lot of Americans wanted a hands off approach - let the world be - because we tasted death in World War II.
I voted for Bush but I do not think this war in Iraq was a smart choice. Our lives are not worth it. We cannot go around the world and fix every little problem - because we have enough problems of our own! If the billions of dollars sent to Iraq were spent to improve the American economy ... one could only guess at how much our lives would be improved.
You are correct - we have to stay the course or the hole in Iraq will be blamed on us. You are also correct by saying that BOTH parties in Iraq hate us - bad when you are trying to create stability.

American policies are what makes America hatted. The whole Arab world hates Zionism and America is the biggest supporter of the Zionist Nation State of Israel. The American people get caught in the middle when they blindly support this so called war on terrorism.

Iraq was never about democracy for Iraqi's. That was just one of many excuses that were thrown about. The majority of Americans now realize it was a huge mistake. And as far as fighting terrorists in Iraq, we could have accomplished that beefing up our paltry 20000 troops in Afghanistan and possibly built a viable government their.

no no. It wasn't about bringing liberty to Iraq. We overthrew Saddam because he had weapons of mass destruction and he was responsible for 9/11.
(neither of which were true)
Oh- and the war would be over in a month or two and then oil sales would pay for the reconstruction.

You labor under the false assumption that this whole war was about liberating the Iraqi people. Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see.

Yes the terrorist have great reasons for bombing and killing. Ofcourse a minute ago you wanted to stop the killing. HMM, I guess you only want to stop the killing when its someone other than Americans being killed.
But yes, good reasons for murdering thousands on 911, good reasons for killing the dirty Jews everyday, good reasons for bombing subways in Spain, good reasons for bombing London subways, and Bali and so on and on and on....
Why did u write so much. Just say u are a liberal and support the terrorists. We understand. most of you do.
I certainly dont care about the countries enemies and I would like it if you would get up off your *** and go be a human shield
