First off lead is not made up of molecules but a sea of free electrons and positive lead ions.
It is heavy because the atoms are very close (no gramatical error) packed which means that it is dense. it is however, soft becase the atoms are able to slid over each other easily.

step this way my friend and let me tell you. I've been doing quite a lot of looking in that direction myself lately. My favourites have fully comprehensible vocals and good melodic tones. They are After Forever, Delain, Within Temptation, The Gathering, Nemesea and Epica. They're all from Holland but all very good. Krypteria, Atargatis and Xandria good bands from Germany. Visions Of Atlantis and Darkwell are from Austria. Beseech and Drain STH are from Sweden. Tristiana, Theatre Of Tragedy, Leaves Eyes and Midnattsol are all from Norway. Lacuna Coil are from Italy. Sirenia's Nine Destines And A Downfall is a very good album, Darkwell have some good sounds, they're both Spanish. American's Echos Of Eternity have a progressive feel to their music but are not bad, Holyhell, another American band haven't done much but what they have done is pretty good. They were founded by members of Manowar I believe. I've also been listening to Anabantha from Mexico. Kind of a catchy Pop sound but pretty good. A slightly heavier vocal can be found in Benedictum, Allyptic and Vainglory from America. In This Moment, American again has fairly soft vocals but frequently goes into growls and roars - not my personal style for a female vocalist. Kylesa, Again, American are f**king nuts, as is Arch Enemy from Sweden. They're pretty much all the female fronted bands I've got through so far. There's about another 30 that I'm still looking into and obviously I've not included the 80's girl bands like Girlschool, The Runaways, Phantom Blue and Cycle Sluts From Hell or the soloists Lita Ford, Doro and Lee Aaron. That should keep you busy till I can find those others though lol

Density and hardness are 2 different properties of solid metals (other things too). Look at Carbon. It can be in a variety of solid dense forms: coal, shale, coke, diamond. Gold is dense too but also very malleable.

density and softness r 2 diff. things. eg- gold is very heavy but it is soft(in case of pure gold). density doesn't mean that the molecules r closely packed. so don't get confused

it is heavy because of structure of its atoms.
it is soft because of the crytal net in its connection between the atoms
