Father Ted was without a doubt one of the funniest shows ever made - what a shame it came to a tragic end.

Yes, I watched it - love the priest with the Most Boring Voice and that skin-crawling scene with Father Ted Unctious in his underpants. I watched Bing Crosby's 'The Bells of St Mary's' and in it he has a housekeeper who is so like Mrs Doyle in appearance, mannerisms and accent (and even identical hairstyle) that I am sure Mrs D was inspired by her. Check it out sometime!
