wahts this mean and the dream?

ive asked this question before but i wasnt detailed enough some people said its a Poltergeist, i dont think its that.. there was no movement of objects or doors/windows..

i was awake and the phone rang, none of the phones were plugged in and the cells were off. i then fell asleep and had a dream of something banging my walls. before i could open my eyes, a female voice said "we'll be back" it didnt sound nice either.

I wasnt sleeping, i went upstairs and slept in a different room, had a dream with walls banging again, nothing else. Can anyone tell me waht this means or what sort of thing does this?

(btw about 6-7 years ago we had a priest come in, because there was a bitten piece of black bread layin near our door step almost every friday before 6am, after that it was gone)

Imagination + fear = hasty conclusions. Approach this as a scientist. There is a logical explanation. As for the dream aspect, the banging on the walls suggests that repressed material is attempting to break through into consciousness. "We'll be back" in a female voice suggests that what has been repressed will return (the return of the repressed). Consider what knowledge about yourself you have locked away. Perhaps a past that you are ashamed of, or a past trauma that you repressed.

Not sure if you believe in this or not, but it really does sound like an evil spirit. Alot of the time both good or evil spirits can get at you easier when your asleep because your mind is not so preoccupied with the world around you. I've had spirits scream at me, mock me and scare the living daylights out of me. I've had things hovering over me looking directly at me with their face 1 foot away from mine. It's time to start praying and ask God to help this go away. If you pray enough and do what He tells you to do it will go away. Although it can be scary once you realize that Jesus Christ is infinitely more powerful and learn to have faith in Him you will be ok. Good luck.

P.S. The poster above talks about aproaching things as a scientist. It's true that anytime someone has a biased point of view (which is pretty much everyone) they will tend to interpret things from that point of view. Scientists do this just as much as religous people, as many are unable to cope with anything that can't be measured, or even worse that has anything to do with God. You can try a scientific approach if you like, it can't hurt unless you do that to the exclusion of all other things. But if it is an evil spirit, and that is what it sounds like, than perhaps the Lord is wanting you to learn how to better trust in Him, and that is why this is happening?

I personally don't believe in spirits of the dead, but do believe in Evil Spirits. I think that this is what you are dealing with. The end goal of these spirits is to disrupt your life and break down your will. Pray and seek the help of your priest or minister. A church can provide you with a community of support to help you deal with this. Don't think that what you are experiencing is wierd or in any way reflects on you. These types of experiences are actually quite common.

You could have watched a movie or a preview of one like that on TV. Dreams are a jumble of things that you have seen, heard, thought about throughout the day. Don't read too much into your dreams.
