First Direct

I'm with First Direct and I speak with Call Centres in Central Scotland and Leeds area. Never got anything that didnt seem entirely UK based. I think I know what you mean after some entirely awful experiences with BT, so if FD shifted abroad so would I. Nat West , ie Royal Bank of Scotland also advertises the same thing ( I think they got complaints about it!!!)

The Royal Bank of Scotland is a definite. I joined them a few years ago and the only number I have ever dialled for help is their Inverness office (useful to you if you really are in Coylumbridge!).

I think they all use them. NatWest has some UK call centres though, and I've always got through to them when I've called
