Does anyone no of retailers who stock a 31" waist trousers within the Tyne/Wear area please?

Try abercrombie and fitch, banana republic, holister.They tend to carry sizes like that which most stores don't, if not, you may need to get a 32 and get a belt, or get a 32 and have a tailor bring them in.

Marks and Spencer used to and I'm sure H&M do.
I find sizes vary so wildly, even within the same shop that it's best to try on a few anyway.

You could try a ladies' size 14 pair in long, depending on the style!! Don't Burton do them? My other half is skinny and he seems to get fixed up there.

I get 33 inch waist from GAP which is a middle size, try them
