i just got a new bf. he is totally amazing but when it comes to talking on the phone i dont know what to say. he never says nething. and what evr u say dont say break up. he is totally awesome. i need some advise on waht to say. ne conversation starters?? oh and i am 13 if that helps and i am not to young.

Talk about school, mutual friends, a movie you liked, college, dreams and hopes for your future.
Try playing a game on the phone....i.e. "20 questions". Both of you ask eachother random questions on the phone. It could be a great conversation starter....and could make both of you laugh.

As a mom, 13 is not too young to have a "boyfriend", but I would suggest that you be "friends". I have a son and he always gets tongue-tied whenever he has to chat on the phone. Guys don't think of the phone like girls do, which is usually just an extension to their ear! lol When you're talking face-to-face, sometimes saying nothing says a whole lot, and that's probably why it's easier. Ask him about his friends, his likes, dislikes, common tastes in music and/or sports. Get to know him. That's the best part of being a "girlfriend". Also, as a mom, make sure you don't call him thirty times a day. Guys just aren't that into it, especially if they are secure. Say once a day after school. It takes the pressure off, see? Good luck with it, and try not to grow up too fast! :-)

Boys are so shy, they depend on you to hold the conversation, he's nervous as can be on the other end of the phone too.
If he's on sports teams like for example...football. Ask him who his favorite NFL team is, he'll tell you, and ask him why, then he'll go on about the team. If he's interested in action movies or video games, bring one of them up and ask him why he likes it, as long as you ask questions and he answers the conversation will take off.

Are you good when it comes to talking face to face?? Alot of guys are not phone people.So I as long as you guys talk fine face to face I don't think it really matters..
