I never understood when someone asks "how come?" instead of "why?", to me it sounds wrong but I hear a lot of people using it. Just like when people also say "these ones" instead of "these". Maybe it's just me but sometimes it sounds like our language is so watered down.

Yes, it is sometimes just fine to ask "why." Like, why do accountants use debits and credits? It's really unnecessary and just complicates things, when you could much more simply add and subtract the appropriate sums from the appropriate balances. But no one seems to be asking why we're doing all of that. They just keep teaching it, and people keep doing it, because it became "the standard practice." Furthermore, accounting and taxation practices are based on the perception of scarcity, and they cause scarcity to increase. Why continue practices that cause increases in scarcity?

It depends upon where you live in the U.S. In the mid west, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, you get a lot of "how come", in fact, in sections of Ohio, it is Hows Come, which sounds awful, but it is how people speak demographically. It also depends upon whether you are brought up in a middle class family versus high society. People tend to speak properly when they are better educated, or come from a more affluent background. You wouldn't hear Donald Trump ask, "how come?", or say, "these ones".

No, it's not correct, but it's slang, which people use all the time, it's just a cultural thing sort of.

It's generally-recognised American slang rather than correct English.
