You may look at this product: Sling Media. It allows you to watch your TiVo on a computer anywhere you have access to a network. I would think you could then burn them to DVD on your computer. Worth looking into.

To do an HD digital (bit by bit) dub you need a PVR with a digital interface, such as i.Link, and an HD-DVD recorder with the same. However, these HD recorders are rather expensive.

Most consumer DVD recorders don't even support recording from component video, so your best bet is to connect the S-video output from the PVR to your recorder. This will be Standard-definition video.

All these assume that what you recorded on the PVR is not copy protected. If it is copy protected, you may not be able to do any recordings.

Yes you can copy it but no it won't be HD quality its like saying If i take a CD and copy it to tape will it be the same quality no it won't. Their are actuall HD-DVD burners but they are expensive. Hope it helps
