Why does brett even have make a hint of retirement it just brings on the talk. Just let the guy Play he will go in time. With or without the Packers. Did John Elway have to deal with the same at the end of his career?

Brett's career was over a couple of years ago. Tonight, he will have a chance to set another NFL all time record (for interceptions). John Elway never had to deal with all of this retirement talk...he left on his own terms and at the top.
P.S. I am a Packers fan and a stockholder of the Green Bay Packers, and even I know when it's time to go. The difference between me and everyone else, is that I know when to let go.

It's not just him everyone always starts asking and he doesn't give a definite answer because the season is still going. I also think because everyone loves his playing so much, (he may not be the in the top 5 quarterbacks of all time) that no one wants to see his talent erode which is has but he's still a winner. To someone so great because a mere shell of what they were before is upsetting to a lot of people. I don't think John Elway had to deal with it because he wasn't revered the way Favre was 3-time MVP!

Probably not. He was way better but, hey Brett had a good career. Your right let the guy finish his career in a good way.

Many good players like Favre who stay beyond their time have to answer such questions. He would do well to retire and give the rest of us fans a break from the drama!!

i think that Brett should just retire or tell how long it is until he does, and i thing that he's doing it himself just to get his butt some publicity with the Packers doing as crappy as they have

Why don't you compare him with Terry Bradshaw. There is no comparasion, Bradshaw has 4 rings to prove it and he called all of the plays when he played.
