maybe but I doubt it. those programs do not require much information to be sent to one another. you would probably have to talk non-stop for 24 hours straight to use even 50KB.

Haha, sucker. I can't believe that the UK actually has download limits on ISPs. However, I'm sure messengers do count toward your bandwidth limit. However, they only use text, and the amount of bandwidth is extremely tiny, so it won't make any dent. Only pictures, movies, and music will visibly affect your limit.

Yes, it will rack it up at a rapid rate. If you stay logged into it and constantly recieve and send messages and also exchange files with friends you'd be suprised how much it will.

ps: Reading this message will also affect your download limit, you don't to "Download" to affect you linit download linits means ALL trafic received by your computer.
